Gisele might be comfortable in her mansion these days, safe behind the confines of a moat, but you’d find her fellow Brazilian supermodel Lisalla Montenegro more eager to jump over the damn thing on a motorbike.
“Speed, racing, and motorcycling are usually things that men are into, but when a woman does it, it seems powerful and sexy,” she says. “Whenever I am on my motorcycle or driving fast, I feel like Superwoman.”
Getting the attention of Montenegro—who’s walked the international runway for designers like Hermès, Michael Kors, and Armani—is an exercise in chivalry: Her knight needs to “buy flowers, pull the chair out, and open the door,” she says. (Unfortunately, L.A. Angels pitcher C.J. Wilson figured that out before we could.)
More important for Montenegro, you’d better know the difference between salsa and samba. “I love doing all kinds of dance, like pole dancing, hip-hop, and ballet,” she says. “It doesn’t matter where you come from; as long as we move to the same rhythm, everything is good.”
Of course, there are a few things you could teach her, too. “I haven’t done any rock climbing, skydiving, or marathons, but it’s something that I’d really like to cross off my list this year,” she says.
If Wilson’s not feeling it, we’d happily jump out of that airplane.
