“If God exists, then why did he make ugly people?”
Yep, Derek Zoolander is back.
The cult original Zoolander will have aged over 14 years when the sequel hits theaters in 2016. But while Ben Stiller appears virtually unaged in his return as the attention-hungry fashion icon, it's clear his character's brain cell count hasn't increased much either.
As for that synthesized voice in the beginning: It belongs to DecTalk by Dennis, the spoken word processor made famous by Professor Stephen Hawking.
No word yet on whether the famous British mathematician will appear in the sequel, but Owen Wilson and Christine Taylor are set to return, while Olivia Munn is slated to join in a starring role. Justin Theroux, perhaps better known as Jennifer Aniston's better half, wrote the screenplay.
Zoolander 2—call it "200-lander," "Zoolander eye eye," or just "Zoolander two"—is set to premiere in theaters on February 12, 2016. But until then, we'll just have to trust that yes, Hansel is still so hot right now.
