In what may be the final look we get at the upcoming reboot of the Ridley Scott classic, Blade Runner 2049, before the movie hits theaters this October, we earn a lingering glimpse of the cinematography that will be at play.
In the clip, Ryan Gosling navigates the oppressively metallic gray skies and discarded debris to come across a mysterious dome, the inner workings of which are equally mysterious.
The clip provides a telling example of the atmosphere 2049 establishes, and how Gosling will navigate it.
2049's director is Denis Villeneuve, whose previous work includes similar other-worldly thrillers Sicario and Arrival.
