With excitement and expectations mounting, Disney has just released three new TV spots for Star Wars Episode VIII: The Last Jedi to keep the momentum going all the way to its release on December 15.
The TV spots vary widely in tone. The first trailer, "Kick," shows off the more light-hearted side of the film, whereas "Fight" focuses on Rey (Daisy Ridley) and Finn's (John Boyega) struggle to fight for what they believe in.
The third spot, "Permission," is notable for having a new scene with the late Carrie Fisher as Princess Leia delivering a hilarious, straight-faced response to Poe Dameron's (Oscar Isaac) request to "jump into an X-Wing and blow something up".
The Last Jedi is the first Star Wars film directed by Rian Johnson, but it won't be the last—Disney has already signed a deal with Johnson for a new trilogy outside of the Skywalker saga.
