Don’t let the beers or golf carts fool you. Golfing, like any other sport, takes practice. If you really want to improve your putting skills instead of just taking up space on the green, you have to put in the time. Our partners at teamed up with Don Law, director of instruction at Club Med Academics, to show us some drills you can practice during your next outing.

The first is known as the Box Putting Drill. All you have to do is create a box around the hole and start putting from five to ten feet away. The goal is to get the ball into the box, while the hole counts as an extra point. Continue this drill with increasing distances.
